Your Course Instructor


I'm Dr Hannah Lock, an Emergency Medicine Senior Clinical Fellow at Ysbyty Gwynedd, North Wales. Around my hospital work I work as an expedition doctor on trekking and mountaineering expeditions, with a special interest in high altitude mountainous areas. I have also assisted on three high altitude medical research expeditions.

I am a qualified summer UK Mountain Leader and gained the UIAA Diploma in Mountain Medicine in 2018.

I am a keen mountaineer, hill walker, rock climber, skier, cyclist, runner and swimmer.
